Wojciech Szczesny
Between David Ospina’s newly acquired back injury and the three day lay-off, I think it’s time Szczesny gets another go against higher competition. While Ospina brushed off the back injury, Wenger is a cautious man, and as such, he’ll likely give him a rest for the weekend’s Premier League clash against Everton.
However, at some point, Arsenal need to develop some consistency as far as who the first-choice keeper is going to be.
I hope that Szczesny will treat this like an audition and bring his A-Game. Opsina has been great and his talents have been essential to Arsenal’s recent success, but if the Pole wants back into the starting XI, then this is his opportunity.
