Arsenal’s Predicted Starting Squad for the Match Against Queens Park Rangers

I have Alexis starting in the No. 10 role for a couple reasons. Firstly, Mesut Ozil has proven that his stamina isn’t always the best, and he’s going to need breaks. He hasn’t had a break in quite some time.

Secondly, statistically speaking, the No. 10 role is the role where Alexis performs with the highest quality. He’s scored six goals in just four appearances in the position and I think that merits giving him a start there when goals are hard for him to come by.

However, I’m really second-guessing whether I actually believe Wenger will put him in the center of the pitch. While it’s his best spot, it’s not likely to be his spot of the future, where Mesut Ozil will be dominating the role. Regardless, as of right now, it’s his best, and it will give him some confidence.
