For as big of a game as this is for Wjciech Szczesny, it’s almost as big for Per Mertesacker. The Telegraph reports that the BFG’s future is in doubt, but we kind of knew that already. Another game like what he had against Monaco and Gabriel will have his way into the Starting XI paved in gold.
