Flamini is almost sure to be sold this summer. As the Telegraph reports, there really is no place for him anymore. Since being hurt, his spot was taken by Francis Coquelin. And while it’s unfortunate that it happened that way, Arsenal have to keep putting their best foot forward, and the fact of the matter is that Coquelin is better.

If Morgan Schneiderlin is coming to town, then it makes even move sense that Flamini would have to move on. He’s just not needed on this squad anymore.

With only one year remaining on his contract, it’s just another case of it being better for both parties if he’s sold in the summer.
