After a nine-year, 42-injury career (the Daily Mail), it appears that Diaby’s time at Arsenal is finally winding down to a close. It really is a tragic story, to see such talent never given the opportunity to materialize because of injuries, but what’s done is done, and it’s best for everyone involved for Diaby to serve his contract until the summer and find something else.

Arsene Wenger has been nothing but loyal to Diaby and has given him all the time in the world to heal, but the fact of the matter is, it’s just not going to happen. He’s an afterthought at Arsenal nowadays anyway.
