Danny Welbeck is running out of opportunities
Danny Welbeck wasn’t awful. He had one really good shot on goal that was deflected rather luckily. But Welbeck is continuously “so close” to being dynamic. His touches are always an inch too far, his shots are an inch off target and his passes are an inch behind the intended recipient.
But after scoring against Manchester United, I thought maybe he’d be able to build on some momentum. I was wrong. But when it comes to putting faith in Danny Welbeck. I’m used to being wrong.
