Santi Cazorla could be starting here as well, if Alexis is finally given the rest he needs, but I’m not sure Arsene Wenger feels comfortable sitting Alexis yet.

The problem is that Alexis’s usefulness is steadily on the decline because of exhaustion or ineffectiveness or something. He looked pretty worn out against Monaco as well and it added to a string of matches where he just looked like he was trying way too hard.

We need our Chilean mastermind for the home stretch and if a rest would rejuvenate him, then it’s about time to give him that rest.
