Suddenly, Arsenal’s wings aren’t as stacked as they once were. With Theo Walcott’s value sputtering and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain out hurt, it really is just Alexis Sanchez as the only true-blooded winger, and even he would rather be playing in the No. 10 role.

But Danny Welbeck did put in a pretty good effort against Monaco. He yet again came “so close” to scoring but couldn’t quite manager a goal.
However, his speed makes him a constant threat to get in behind the defense and honestly, no one else on this team has stepped up to deserve the spot more. Santi Cazorla could be starting here, but I thought the little Spaniard may need a break.
