The only reason why the Ox isn’t a shoe-in is because of his versatility. He can play any position in front of the defense and while he prefers the right side, I almost wonder if his wide range of talents aren’t a little wasted if we confine him to the right side of the pitch.
However, if he starts to develop a playing style like Alexis Sanchez and starts driving towards the center, then maybe the right wing makes sense. But it also makes sense to still let him rotate around the pitch and let him cover for whatever position needs covering.
At 21 years old, the Ox has so much time to make a lasting imprint at Arsenal and I fully expect him to. His talent is something special. It doesn’t just come around all the time. It’s a rarity.
