Jack Wilshere and Cesc Fabregas have a storied history together. Fabregas was Wilshere’s mentor until he left and now Fabregas is doing rather well playing for Arsenal’s dear rivals.
Jack Wilshere was supposed to inherit Cesc’s throne, but he’s been so injured that he’s had no chance to. What better chance to prove that he’s capable of what Fabregas did at Arsenal then when he’s on the same pitch as him? Wilshere has the talent and if he can show up his former mentor, he’d win immense support and his own confidence would go through the roof.
