5 Reasons Why Arsenal Should Start Jack Wilshere Against Chelsea
By Josh Sippie
1. Santi Cazorla?
I wasn’t too impressed by Santi Cazorla against Reading, but he did play 120 minutes. That sentence gives two reasons why Cazorla should make room for Jack Wilshere for the Chelsea match up.
Firstly, Cazorla needs a rest. He’s proven in the past that fatigue can be prevalent, and nothing will fatigue you more than 120 minutes against a very physical Reading.
Secondly, the fact that Cazorla didn’t make himself too useful against Reading and the team was still able to press on to win is proof that the main men at Arsenal, at least currently, are Alexis, Giroud, Ozil and Ramsey. That leaves a flexible spot that Wilshere could step in to.
