Who Will Arsenal’s Next Captain Be?

Santi Cazorla may leap out as the best candidate, but I’m not so sure. He’s 30 years old and he’s only been with the club for three years. While his skill, level-headedness and team spirit are unquestionable, he doesn’t have the long-term allure that I’d prefer in our next Arsenal captain.
However, if Arsene Wenger wants to continue the trend of handing the captain spot to an experienced senior player, than Cazorla could be his man. His central role on the pitch can be useful as well.
