Laurent Koscielny

Koscielny has been with the club for five years, he’s just under thirty years old and he’s one of Arsene Wenger’s best success stories. The problem with his potential to be captain is his aggression. Managers often prefer players who are less susceptible to yellow cards and possible dismissals.

That being said, Koscielny is a great candidate. He’s been with the club half a decade, his passion for the club is unquestioned and he still has several years to give. While he won’t be a long term captain, he could hold down the spot to complete his decade with the team.
