Where’s his contract extension?
“No one has called me” Santi Cazorla said about a potential contract extension. “I have a one-year contract and we will see what Arsenal think about the possibility of extending the contract.” (via the Metro).

As an Arsenal fan, that makes me really nervous for a variety of reasons. When Arsene Wenger wants to keep a player, he wastes no time getting that contract done (unless you’re Theo Walcott). Look at Francis Coquelin, Aaron Ramsey, etc. He gets pen to paper for whoever he wants.
So the fact that no one has called Santi Cazorla is mildly alarming. While Wenger has (at least some) reason to make Theo Walcott sweat over his contract, Santi Cazorla has no reason for such treatment. No contract talks is not a good sign at all.
