According to Squawka’s player scores, no one on Arsenal is better than Santi Cazorla. Not Alexis Sanchez, not Laurent Koscielny, and not Francis Coquelin. He’s put up 7 goals and 11 assists and a pass completion percentage of 88%. Few can rival the passes that Cazorla makes (except maybe Mesut Ozil). And if Aaron Ramsey’s versatility was a proponent, then Santi Cazorla’s versatility is invaluable.

Cazorla has played every position in front of left back and right of the right flank. Every single one. And what’s more is that he’s excelled at every single one.

Based on WhoScored.com‘s player ratings by position, here’s how Santi Cazorla’s player ratings stack up:

Cazorla is just a blessing wherever he puts his boots. Not only that, but his lack of injuries have meant that he is never a missing piece. He’s played more than anyone else this year with 33 appearances (Arsenal.com). That’s more than even Alexis Sanchez’s 31.

The only drawback to Santi Cazorla is that he has games where you really don’t notice him. He also has a tendency to go on streaks where his goal-scoring prowess quite literally disappears.

But no matter what, Santi Cazorla is quality. He just oozes quality and while he doesn’t always get the notice he deserves, he is a beacon of consistency.
