In the midst of some rather unpleasant news regarding Arsenal’s pursuit of Alexandre Lacazette and Nabil Fekir, we are again reminded that nothing is set in stone until the paper is signed. As such, no paper has been signed as of yet.

Alexandre Lacazette established himself as the premier striker in the French Ligue 1 this past year with Olympique Lyonnais and as such, the vultures are swarming over his carcass, ready to swoop him up for their own. One such vulture is Arsenal. Reports have indicated that Lacazette has signed with PSG, via the Express, but the source is in question and again, nothing has been made official.

In fact, Alexandre Lacazette was very clear in his recent statements, saying:

"“I have not made my decision. I will go on holiday, leave my agent to discuss things, for him to look after all that. I am not worried. As soon as I have decided, I want it all to happen quickly. When? That is the question. I could stay at Lyon next season and have a terrible season, I could leave and have an incredible season. Everything depends on the destination. It would have to be for a Champions League club, you don’t reject them.”"

Seems pretty undecided to me, but the press indicates that PSG is where he’ll be.

Regardless of what unfolds, there are a handful of positives to pull from this situation on behalf of Arsenal. It’s reached a point where every bit of news favors the North Londoners. Here’s a look at the good stuff.
