Going back to Alexandre Lacazette’s quote, he mentioned that nothing at all is set in stone. He could stay, he could leave, but he wants it all to happen quickly. While this reported PSG move did indeed happen quickly, it also happened a bit conspicuously.

The fact of the matter is that despite what Manchester United and Memphis Depay managed to do, the transfer window is not open yet and until it is, these baseless reports are going to come and go. It was not more than a couple months ago that Edinson Cavani had made the move to Juventus. Now that has fallen by the wayside.

The same will likely happen with this situation as Alexandre Lacazette remains with Lyonnais at least until the transfer window opens.
