With the transfer window a mere seven days away, and Arsenal in the thick of literally thousands of transfer rumors, lets take a look at some of the big ones, the realistic ones, and the unbelievable ones, starting with the one that has been rumored to have already been completed.

Petr Cech

Petr Cech has been linked with Arsenal for quite some time and it seemed like a done deal, with sources like the Metro, the Mirror, the Daily Mail and more reporting it completed for 11 million pounds, but the deal is not solidified yet. In fact, it still has wiggle room to fall through. This is just another reason why you should not believe it until one of the two sides confirms it.

Jackson Martinez

Arsenal are now in ‘pole position’ to sign the Colombian hit man according to the Express, with Atletico Madrid backing out of the race. Martinez, like Cech, has been linked to Arsenal for some time and despite doubts over the practicality of the transfer, the 25 million pound move is still in the works.

Morgan Schneiderlin

I am sure I am not the only one that is slightly tired of this link. The deal is so on-again off-again that we can never key in on if it is even in the works. While sources at the Express say it would be a good deal, no talks have even been able to be confirmed, so this deal appears dead in the water.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Another Dortmund product linked to Arsenal, this one appears unlikely to go through as the Daily Star indicates that Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are all ready to engage in a bidding war for the man said to cost just under 30 million pounds. This does not sound conducive to an Arsenal pursuit.

Grzegorz Krychowiak

More from Arsenal Transfer Rumours

The Sevilla man has joked about joining English teams before but after switching to an England-based agent and seeing Sevilla bid for Steven N’Zonzi, it is starting to look like the Pole could be on the move. Arsenal seek to shore up their defense in front of the defense and the hulking Krychowiak would be the perfect candidate. Do not count this rumor as dead just yet.

David Ospina

If what looks like is going to happen, happens, then David Ospina will be the tragic hero of the century. If Petr Cech is coming to town, then Ospina appears on the out, and this is confirmed by his quote in talkSPORTS: “They [Fenerbahce] are dealing with my agent.”

Ospina was a savior for Arsenal this season and it would be a shame if he were given the out after such a solid year.

Jack Wilshere

Rumors of our rambunctious Englishman leaving Arsenal for Manchester City persist, as the bid is now supposedly up to 40 million pounds. However, any and all pursuit of Jack Wilshere hinges on whether or not he would ever play for anywhere that is not Arsenal. Long story short, he would not.
