2. Mesut Ozil is getting better
Mesut Ozil said in an interview the other day that “I know that I have a lot more potential to show.” All teams in the EPL should be terrified at the concept of Mesut Ozil getting even better than he already is.
But if you watched the game today, you saw a Mesut Ozil that was in complete control. He had no glaring mistakes and when he had the ball, you just knew the cogs in his mind were turning and something was going to happen.
The vision of Mesut Ozil is absolutely amazing. The pass that he sent to Aaron Ramsey for the Welshman’s goal displayed phenomenal composure and vision to time out Aaron Ramsey’s run and send him perfectly on for a great goal.
Ozil also sent a pristine ball in off of Giroud’s head/shoulder for the first goal. In case it needed to be restated, Ozil is indeed getting better and looks to surpass his prowess at Real Madrid.
