Arsenal and Chelsea Position by Position Comparison to Prove that Arsenal Will Take Title

Mesut Ozil vs Cesc Fabregas
If you want to see me squirm, show me a picture of Cesc Fabregas in a Chelsea shirt. But all biases aside, Cesc Fabregas is one of the best in the world. He always has been. Last year the former Gunner managed to put up an incredible 18 assists while maintaining a pass completion percentage of 85%. That is pretty standard from the once Captain Fantastic.
Fabregas will be at his best again this year. While 18 assists is a high tally, he could very easily put up a number right around that area.

On the other side is the man who replaced him, Mesut Ozil. Ozil does not have the hard evidence to stand up to Fabregas. 4 goals and 5 assists pales in comparison, but he produced more key passes and a better pass completion percentage. You know what they say about assisting, all you can do is set up the other guy. From there, it is all his responsibility.
Ozil is primed for a huge year. He is growing by leaps and bounds every single year and he has always been one of the best assisting midfielders in the world.
Verdict: Despite what I think Ozil can do and what he will most likely do, I still have to torture myself by anointing Cesc Fabregas the upper hand. However, I truly and deeply hope that I am proven wrong.
