Are These 5 Arsenal Players Worth it in 2015-16 Fantasy?
Olivier Giroud
As I mentioned in the introduction, Giroud had some fine patches in the past season, and at times, he looked like a player that you’ve got to have in your fantasy team.
However, his price got moved up to £9.0, which is quite expensive for a striker, and he may not be worth getting because there are cheaper options such as £8.0 Romelu Lukaku who could prove just as effective in terms of goal-getting.
In addition to his bumped-up value, consider that Theo Walcott may see a lot of action in Arsenal’s striker role. Although it isn’t clear how the rotation is going to work up front, it is somewhat of a gamble to bet on Giroud getting a long run of games up top.
Verdict: Hold off for now
