3. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – 17 goals

The Chinese calendar indicates that the year of the Ox is in 2021. I beg to differ. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, if he can remain healthy, can mirror what Alexis Sanchez does on the left side of the pitch. He can monopolize the position for the next decade.

While internal competition is always a good thing, the fact that the Ox has no internal competition on the rightside of the pitch gives him free reign to play as much as he wants. He will not be like Walcott and Giroud splitting time. This is the Ox’s time to claim the right wing and never let it go.

Watching him against Chelsea, he looked like he had been a bonafide goal-scorer for years. His left-footed chip to beat Thibaut Courtois was pristine and we will be seeing plenty more where that came form.

What also plays into the Ox’s favor is his willingness to let the ball fly. Just like Aaron Ramsey, if our young Englishman sees an opening, he will fire and he has quite the loaded gun at the ready.

Of course, the key is staying healthy. If we get a full season out of the Ox, he can compete with the top goalscorers in the league.
