3. Arsene Wenger Shoves Jose Mourinho
This moment will forever be ingrained in our minds, but the reason why it is not higher up than it already is is because we still can’t seem to solve Chelsea. Had we won the match along with a well-placed shove to the chest of Jose Mourinho, then it would be number one for sure.
Regardless, the incident began after a rather brutal (and should have been red-carded) slide tackle by Gary Cahill on Arsenal’s pride and joy, Alexis Sanchez. After he remained on the ground, Arsene Wenger went to check to see if his man was okay and on the way happened upon the Portuguese man opposite him. The rest is history.
What makes the event stand out is that Wenger is usually so level-headed. What makes the event even better is that Wenger made no apologies: “‘I don’t regret it, what is there to regret? I want to go from A to B and someone (Mourinho) confronted me before I got to B without any sign of a welcome,” he said via the Daily Mail.
