5 Reasons to be excited about Jack Wilshere’s Arsenal return

Jack Wilshere has had a rough start to his still young Arsenal career. With brief glimpses into his brilliance being offset by months of injury recovery time, it has been a surplus of frustration. Wilshere just has not had the benefit of being able to string together long runs with the team so as to achieve full potential. Maybe it is just bad luck, maybe it is more than that.
With such a class finish to last campaign and some excellent international bouts to augment it, Jack Wilshere was headed into this season full of promise to finally fulfill everything he was ever meant to be. However, in typical fashion, Wilshere got injured again via a hairline fracture from training.

Wenger spoke of the Englishman’s injury, via the Mirror: “It is a bit too optimistic to think he will be available for England. It is too early. After the international break he has a chance, but not before.”
While it seemed like a miraculous recovery, Wilshere still has some more time to get back into full health before he returns to the pitch.
It is a tough proposition getting excited about Jack Wilshere’s return to Arsenal. Not because he is not an exciting player – he is – but because that voice in the back of your head is telling you “don’t get attached, he won’t be here long.” It’s like he’s a Stark or something (poor Game of Thrones joke).
Whatever the case, Jack Wilshere is due back in just over a month and it is time to start thinking about what we will have on the squad when he returns. Here are five reasons to get jazzed up over our English bulldogs return to the club.
