Arsenal Loan Watch: Updates on all the Gunners Loanees

With a youth system like Arsenal’s, loans are pretty much the greatest thing in the world. They need to get their 17-20 year old crop plenty of first team game time so when the time comes for them to impact Arsenal, they are fully equipped and prepared to do so.
That being said, this year is a heavy year for Arsenal in terms of who they loaned out.

Gedion Zelalem is the most recent to complete a loan move, as he is set to make his debut for Scottish side Rangers at the weekend. The American prospect is destined for greatness and Rangers will be a key component to his growth towards being an Arsenal first-teamer.
Carl Jenkinson is spending another season on loan at West Ham, as Arsenal’s right back scenario is as jam-packed as always.
Chuba Akpom and Isaac Hayden will be spending the year at Hull City. Akpom’s loan came as a bit of a surprise seeing as how Arsene Wenger had said he would not loan out the young striker.
Wojciech Szczesny packed his bags for an extended stay in the Italian capital and his goal keeping buddy Emiliano Martinez will join former Arsenal striker Benik Afobe at Wolverhampton.
The prodigy Daniel Crowley is staying at Barnsley for the year and the finally-cleared-for-a-visa Wellington Silva looks to make an impact with the Bolton Wanders.

Jon Toral looks to play out another loan, as he is off to a great start at Birmingham and the youngster Ainsley Maitland-Niles hopes to gain some experience at Ipwsich Town.
