Olivier Giroud: 81, Danny Welbeck: 78
Olivier Giroud’s 79 rating was a crime of epic proportions and if the offense is not reprimanded in FIFA 16, I will eat my own head. The hulking French forward went on a tear this year, netting 19 times in an injury-shortened season. He more than earned at least two points buffer.
Danny Welbeck will be interesting because while the goals never came, he did contribute in many other areas. Anything between a 75-81 rating would not be surprising. I took the easy way out and kept him right at where he was to start last year.
