Arsenal’s FIFA 16 Player Ratings Dissected

Olivier Giroud – 82, Danny Welbeck – 79

‘Sweet Victory’ plays in my head when I see that Pain in the Arsenal underrated our two strikers by a point each. EA Sports nailed it with our striker ratings. While I could write a fourteen page paper on why Giroud still deserves more than an 82 based on his goal-scoring ability, I will accept an 82 as payment for the heinous crime that was his 79 rating last year.

Olivier Giroud being a 79 was an act of war. He scores goals. He’s a striker. That alone gets him an 82. Well done EA Sports.

Giving Welbeck a point boost was brave as well. So many experts out there were calling Danny Welbeck a disappointment but EA Sports saw the big picture. Welbeck did contribute a lot to this team and his potential is still there. Granted this injury may dock his rating back a bit.
