The UEFA Champion’s League is underway. Arsenal will have to face off against Bayern Munich, Olympiacos and Dinamo Zagreb in the group stage. Many experts out there indicate that Arsenal were drawn into a very positive group despite the presence of the German stalwarts.

Being drawn alongside the Croatian Champions and the Greek Champion means that Arsenal are predicted second place finishers. But that does not mean the Gunners will make things easy. We are far too smart to bank on Arsenal making things easy.
This is a team with a long, often tragic Champion’s League history. Just when you think they are ready, they tank. Just when you count them out, they fight on but to no avail. Arsene Wenger has never lead them to a European title and that is the ghost that lives in his head. Not even Arsene Wenger is immune to the psychological toll that this competition has. It is more his nemesis than Jose Mourinho.
