Arsenal Predicted Starting XI To Face Tottenham Hotspur
By Josh Sippie
Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud
Again, what options do we have? Theo Walcott started against Chelsea and while he looked threatening at times, he was never able to deliver an end product. Surprise. Olivier Giroud, meanwhile, has been itching to get back to starting ever since his rather unfortunate red card. He had very little time to impact the Chelsea affair but he was not awful by any means. He just came into a 10, and soon to be 9, man squad. Hard to do much with that.

But against Tottenham, it will be Giroud. He has become our squad rotation striker and will continue to be until he proves himself as superior to Theo Walcott. Shouldn’t be too hard, but no one is really performing well up front for the Gunners.
Mesut Ozil was less than impressive against Chelsea as well. His lack of defense looked painfully awkward as he dawdled around in the middle of the pitch, not wanting to do much of anything. Hopefully Tottenham can give him a chance to redeem himself. He really needs it.
