Arsenal’s Predicted Starting XI To Face Manchester United
By Josh Sippie
Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla
Seeing Francis Coquelin back on the pitch was the best thing ever. I was even glad to see him come off when Arsenal needed the offensive boost. That will keep him fresh for United.
Nobody is more valuable to this team than Francis Coquelin. The added layer of defense that he adds is crucial. Gone are the days of opposing attacks getting free reign in our midfield to pick apart our defense. Coquelin is the sheriff in this midfield and if you want to get through to the back 4, you have to go through him. That is not easy.
The key now will be keeping him healthy.
Santi Cazorla will continue his perpetual first-team selection, as he will look to find the net for the first time this season. He had plenty of chances against Olympiakos, one of which was saved by the head of a Greek defender, but he still remains goalless.
