Arsene Wenger Continues To Impress Everyone At Arsenal
By Josh Sippie
Ask any Arsenal fan out there what they think of Arsene Wenger and you will get one of two ansers. They love him. Or they hate him and want him out. The major trophy drought has caused the answers to swing into the latter category. However, recent results may be returning it more towards the former.

Arsene Wenger has won a lot at Arsenal. He has done what no other manager has done with the Invincible season. A season that he somewhat predicted, albeit a year too soon. He has also kept Arsenal in the Champion’s League for 18 straight years. People will tell you that is not enough, but hear me out. You can’t win the Champion’s League if you don’t qualify. The first step is qualifying. Arsene Wenger ensures qualification.
Not only that, but qualification is no easy feat. Should it be the end goal? Absolutely not. But the Premier League is not La Liga, where it’s a race for third place. The Premier League is a rat race scramble for the Champion’s League. There are no sure-fire qualifiers.
Except Arsenal.
Arsene Wenger has managed to take a ten year title-less team through the financial struggle of the Emirates and keep them relevant. That is no easy feat. With the drought reaching new lengths, he then faced the financial freedom following the building of the Emirates and he has made the most of it. Wenger has brought in Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez. These are two guys that are here because they believe in the Arsenal way. The way that Arsene Wenger will not let go.
Petr Cech is the latest to join Arsenal and, surprise surprise, he is saying the same thing.
“He introduced me to the vision the club has for the coming years, to the reason why certain things are the way they are now and how they will be next year and the year after. I really liked the project in the way it matches my ambition,” the Czech keeper said via the Mirror.

What higher praise is there? A career winner, who has played for a direct rival and against your club for so many years has spoken in your favor. Whatever Arsene Wenger has planned for this Arsenal club, Petr Cech believes in his vision. Cech went on to point out that when people criticize Wenger, they are only seeing a fraction of his job. Outside of the game, Wenger is still working. He is still driving this team towards his vision.
If Wenger has won the faith and trust of Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Petr Cech, then why shouldn’t he have your faith and trust? Those are three players who have won a lot. And by a lot, I mean just about everything. And they believe in what Arsene Wenger is doing here.
I know this is not going to be a popular take, but what do you think? Does Cech’s faith in Wenger give you more faith in Wenger?
