Watford proved tough for a half, but Arsenal was able to net another three goals to keep their momentum going. They have now scored eleven goals in their last three games. Pretty impressive.

But next up is Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich is several steps ahead of Arsenal in terms of European relevance. They are a powerhouse. A tank. There are few teams out there who look at Bayern Munich and ooze with confidence. Arsenal will not be one of those few teams. But they have to prepare for this game like they did against Manchester United. As we have seen, United is most certainly up to scratch with Arsenal. But the Gunners came out and dismantled the Red Devils like they were a bunch of school children out to recess.

Arsenal’s preparation for Watford was not quite as pleasant. They came out looking like they felt like they deserved to win. It took a second half wake-up to give Arsenal the urgency they needed to win the game.

If Arsenal can prepare for Bayern Munich and if they are fit enough, they can most certainly keep pace. They can even win. Arsenal is a team that can do just about anything. They can win anything and lose anything as well. But when they are in that winning mode, they appear unstoppable.

A lot of this comes down to starting the right people. Arsenal just played Watford. After a cushy two day break, they will face the best team in Europe. Who is going to be 100% for this match up? Not many. Arsene Wenger questionably left Alexis Sanchez on for 80 minutes. All this compiling on the injury that never healed.

That is just one concern. Let’s get to the rest as we boldly try to predict a starting XI that Arsenal can field that features fit players but keeps three points as a realistic option.
