3. Arsenal have three world-class center halves

Call it crazy, but I really believe that Laurent Koscielny, Per Mertesacker and Gabriel Paulista are all world class. We all already knew that Laurent Koscielny was. The Kosc is the boss. Enough said.

Per Mertesacker was not so long ago as well, and he looks like that younger version of himself again. Against Manchester United and Bayern Munich he put away two of the hottest attacks Arsenal have faced in some time. The BFG kept Anthony Martial, Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller out of goal.

To add merit to his doings, Bayern Munich and Robert Lewandowski continued right where they left off before Arsenal stepped in the way. They beat FC Koln 4-0, with Muller and Lewan both netting.

Gabriel Paulista still has to prove consistency, but he makes some outrageous tackles. It was a clutch tackle against Romelu Lukaku that gained him so much attention last year and he did the same thing again. The Brazilian is a special talent and he may even grow to be better than Laurent Koscielny.
