Arsenal Vs Swansea: Betting Odds
Arsenal are in excellent form. They have only lost one game in October, that being against Sheffield Wednesday in the League Cup this last week. They haven’t lost in the Premier League since a 2-0 away loss to Chelsea. Wenger’s men have found their rhythm in recent weeks, but travel to a Swansea team that has undoubtedly had the better of the tie over the last couple of years. Swansea won both matches last year, and Wenger’s men haven’t prevailed against the Welshmen in three games.

Arsenal are clear favorites, priced at 8/11, with Swansea unfancied at 7/2. That is a short price for Arsenal, and actually, it is disrespectful to Swansea pricing them at 7/2. The draw at 14/5 is perhaps the best option, but the odds certainly indicate the form that Arsenal find themselves in. If you are backing the Gunners this week, both teams to score and Arsenal to win at 21/10 is a nice price and Giroud and Arsenal to win at 13/8 is also a tempting bet.
I feel that at 8/11, you should stay away from an Arsenal win. The Liberty Stadium is a tough place to go, and Swansea, although struggling for form, is a decent side with plenty of quality to cause a banged up Arsenal side plenty of issues.
Furthermore, after finally recording their first win in the league since beating Manchester United on August 30th, Gary Monk looks to have steadied the ship. This is a very tough matchup for the Gunners, and while a win is the most likely result, 8/11 is a very short price, even for the form that Arsenal are in.
