2 Hector Bellerin’s intensity is near tops on the team

I have frequently sang the praises of Gabriel Paulista, Francis Coquelin and Alexis Sanchez and their collective intensity. It is like having the same player in three different positions. They do not have an off switch. Nor do they seem to get very tired.

Well, add Hector Bellerin to that list. Bellerin made a play that blew my mind. While it ended up being moot, the young Spaniard went racing back to recover from being caught out and laid his body on the line to clear the ball off of the goal line, which he did. He then slammed into the goalpost with his rib cage.

Of course, the play was blown dead for offside, but that is not the point. The point is that Hector Bellerin has the same intensity as our other top dogs in that department. He is going to put his body on the line for the club, as we saw, and it is an inspiring sight to see.

Finally, we move on to the last thing we learned today. I already have goosebumps thinking about it because of how happy it was to see, so let’s get to it.
