Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla

I have mentioned this before, but how awesome is it that Francis Coquelin still does everything he did when he burst onto the scenes last year? Only now, it is expected and turns into just another day at the office.

Coquelin looked steady again against Swansea, leading the team with six interceptions. His work will be cut out for him against Bayern Munich. There will be a lot of ball-chasing and a lot of frustration. But Coquelin has the composure to still assert himself and make an impact.

Santi Cazorla was less than impressive against Swansea. He did come around a bit in the second half but the usually steady Spaniard was giving the ball away left and right.

That cannot be replicated against Bayern Munich. Last time against Bayern, Alexis gave the ball away precariously. Arsenal were fortunate not to surrender any goals as a result. I would not press that luck twice. This is still Bayern Munich.

The wings is where Arsenal figure to get a lot of their firepower, so let’s jump into who will be starting in that region.
