Arsenal Vs Tottenham: North London Derby Predictions
By Josh Sippie
Max: Arsenal 2-0 Tottenham
Yes, I’m aware that Arsenal are coming off a 5-1 drubbing at the hands of Bayern. Yes, I’m aware of the handful of injuries that are depleting the squad. But honestly, I’m still wholeheartedly convinced that the Gooners have enough firepower on offense and defense to pull this one out. The lads have done a phenomenal job this season of bouncing back faster than one of those super bouncy balls that you can’t stop fiddling with at a toy store after a poor display.
Ozil and Cazorla will have significantly more space to move the football and create chances against a very mediocre Spurs defense and with the clinical finishing of Giroud and Sanchez, I have no doubt that Arsenal will score AT LEAST two goals in this game, if not more. As for the defense, I have the utmost confidence in Coquelin and Koscielny to snuff out most of the danger as well as Cech making a few colossal saves. It will be a challenge, no doubt, but how many people expected Arsenal to win 3-0 against Manchester United a few days after a demoralizing home defeat to Olympiacos? Mark my words, Arsenal will win this game… the real question is by how many goals?
