Ranking Arsenal’s Top 5 Midfield Transfer Options

3. Grzegorz Krychowiak
The Polish bruiser has been linked to Arsenal for some time. Yet we have never heard any inclination from either side that a move could happen. Krychowiak just signed a new deal at Sevilla. Depending on who you ask, that is either really good or really bad for Arsenal. It also raised his release clause.
Krychowiak has even stated that no other clubs are of interest to him and that he wants to be at Sevilla. But then again, what else is he supposed to say? He isn’t Moussa Sissoko.
Krychowiak fits the mold of the bruiser type that Arsenal need to compete with Francis Coquelin. The Pole has deputized on the back line as well, so defending is his specialty. He is a monster in the air and actually averages more interceptions than Francis Coquelin at a massive 4.9 (via WhoScored.com).
Again though, the question has always been whether or not he is available. We have seen nothing to indicate that he is. We can still dream.
Next up, a midfielder who may be flying under the radar.
