By now, we all know that Lionel Messi, as a wee young 15-year old, almost came to North London. He loved everything about the club when he came to check it out and was all set to sign the deal. However, the only snag was finding his family a decent place to live, which was apparently too much for Arsene Wenger to accommodate. Or something like that. There are a plethora of reasons why, so let’s stop beating around the bush and get right down to the top five reasons why Arsenal and Lionel Messi will always be painfully apart.
