1. He Is Legend

This point goes hand in hand with the last one, but the major thing here is what exactly Lionel Messi is. He is a living legend. He has done things that will be remembered forever in the annals of football. Guys like that don’t just jump ship on a team that they have spent their life with.

Barcelona and Lionel Messi are synonymous. Maybe at the end of his career he plays a year or two in the MLS, but to go to another team now would put a blip, or a hiccup, in his legendary career.
