Arsenal’s Top 10 Home Kits of All Time

10. 1978/79
Ah, the fresh allure of the 1978 kits. With their arms crossed, you may think that the Arsenal youth squad pictured here is just covering up the massive sponsor logo strewn across the front of the kit. But that’s not the case.
These refreshing kits were the last to not have an all-engulfing logo of a random sponsor across the front of the shirt. Instead, there appeared only umbro’s small logo and the infamous cannon emblem. Next to that it is just a sea of red.
Although the season did not exactly go the Gunner’s way, seeing as how they finished 7th in the table with Liverpool claiming their title, it would be the last time that the red would be unhindered like it had been since the kits first came to North London in 1886.
