Arsenal’s Top 10 Prospects: An In-Depth Look at the Gunner’s Future

9. Isaac Hayden
Strangely, Hayden is the only defender to appear on the list. At 19, he has made a couple appearances for the Arsenal first team squad already. His physical, six foot two inch frame already hints at what type of centre back he’s going to be.
“I like his strengths in the duels,” Arsene Wenger told Arsenal Player. “I like his capacity of concentration and I believe as well that technically he is very focused to do well.”
A lot can be said for mental strength in a player so young. He will be teaming up with Chuba Akpom at Hull City this year, so hopefully that first-team experience will strengthen him even more.
