Arsenal’s Predicted Starters To Face West Bromwich Albion
By Josh Sippie
Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker
While I still hold to the claim that Koscielny and Gabriel Paulista should always be the two starting centerbacks, this time around, it makes sense to start Per Mertesacker. For starters, he provides the best leadership on the pitch for Arsenal. But just in case that is not enough, this is still West Brom, who have trouble scoring.

The main striker will be Venezuelan Salomon Rondon. The Baggies were bright to pick him up and he is starting to show us what he is capable of. However, he is not blessed with speed. Mertesacker will not be caught out against the South American and that will allow Wenger to give Paulista the go on Tuesday against Zagreb.
Laurent Koscielny is about as easy to fill in as Petr Cech. The Frenchman is still one of the best center backs in the league, or even in the world. There are not too many strikers out there who can make the Boss look bad and none of the ones that can make him look bad reside on the Baggies roster.
The defensive midfield is next. Arsene Wenger has the opportunity to make a major statement, but you know he won’t.
