2. The source is questionable
As mentioned on the previous slide, it was less than a week ago that Zlatan Ibrahimovic said it was too late for England. And while Zlatan has been known to surprise the media before, this one seems a bit unlikely. A random source popped up (the Sunday People) without any direct quotes or information. All it said was that Zlatan wants to work with Arsene Wenger and Wenger agrees (as quoted by the Metro).

That is hardly something to base a rumor on. Especially when everything else is saying the contrary.
Optimistically, all rumors start somewhere. Maybe there is someone out there who has the inside scoop. But the likelihood of this being the case where that inside scoop finally pans out is slim. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has played this game before. If he wants something to be known, he makes it known. If he doesn’t want it to be known, he doesn’t let it be known.
Until we see any shred of evidence from the man himself, as tricky as he can be to diagnose sometimes, there is no reason to think that anyone has the inside scoop.
Finally, we get to the main reason why this move will not happen.
