3. Arsenal is clutch

This is not so much a lesson learned as it is a lesson reaffirmed. I already touched on it in the introductory slide, but can we finally admit that when Arsenal is backed into a corner, they respond? Often rather brilliantly? Twice Arsenal was facing the exit door, against Bayern Munich and against Dinamo Zagreb. Both games they won handily and never looked back.

With no Coquelin, no Walcott, no Welbeck and no Wilshere, Arsenal still came out, thin and depleted, and took care of business. Now you can obviously make the argument that this is a moot point. That Arsenal should be beating these clubs easily. And yes, you would be right. But this is Arsenal. They still have a knack for disappointment. But not this time.

Arsenal will face another similar situation against Olympiakos in Athens and you will not find someone more confident in this Arsenal squad than I. Again they will be backed into a corner and again they will come out ready to take care of business. And they will, no questions asked. Joel Campbell will have a chance to face his once-favored loan club and Arsenal will have a chance to overcome a not-so-flattering record in Greece.
