Aaron Ramsey passed just as well as Mesut Ozil against Sunderland. The Welshman had just one less key pass than Ozil and he actually maintained a much higher passer rating than Ozil did. Crazy, right? Aaron Ramsey started off rough, trying to dribble his way through gauntlet after gauntlet. But once he settled in, he was masterful.
Ramsey can go right through defenses when at his best. He is fearless. Defensively, he will track back far more effectively than most because his engine never stops. He is big enough to be a physical threat on set pieces too. The benefits are endless.
And what is one of the keys to Arsenal’s success? Competition. And that is what the next reason is all about.
