Arsenal have scored three goals in six games already this season. Their 1.8 goals per game is high for the Premier League and it is only surpassed by Leicester City and Manchester City at the moment. Leicester’s attacking football has thrived thus far, but it remains to be seen if they can be consistent all season. Manchester City, on the other hand, are displaying once again this season how well they can attack as a group, and will be much harder to slow down.
The main striker at the moment, Olivier Giroud, has 13 goals in all competitions thus far. Alexis Sanchez is hitting his standard, top-level offensive output so far. The Chilean says that he could be even hotter once he adequately rests his hamstring. Five of Sanchez’s midfield teammates have chipped in with multiple goals already, and three of the aforementioned midfield players have spent at least four games out injured.
The emergence of Theo Walcott as a functional striker has eased the burden on Giroud and created an alternate attacking option for Arsenal, so the prospect of them continuing their offensive success seems quite likely. It is not only down to the forwards, however.

Santi Cazorla’s recent injury is detrimental to the Gunners because of his excellent passing ability, but he represents just one of the supporting threats Arsenal have used. Mesut Ozil and Hector Bellerin have provided massive support from through passes and balls from wide areas this season, and Ozil currently sits atop the World’s assists table.
This group of stars assembled at The Emirates has taken a couple of seasons to click, but it is visible that their chemistry is better than it ever has been in their two years of playing together. Ozil has stepped up as the main creator thus far though he is notorious for taking a dip in form during the winter break. Hopefully, other players are able to step up in his place when/if that lower level of play does come.
