Arsenal Transfers: Picking One Player From Each Ligue 1 Side
By Josh Sippie
Caen: Chaker Alhadhur
For being so high up in the table, there was not anyone that stood out to me on Caen as the go-to guy to nab for Arsenal. Andy Delort is a good offensive threat but his passing is rough. Nobody has overly-quality defensive numbers either. Nor did any young players stand out to me.

So I am going for a somewhat-young depth signing.
Mathieu Debuchy is going to be moving on from Arsenal soon and rumor has it Nacho Monreal may be a well. With Kieran Gibbs always a toss-up and Bellerin still young, a little back-up could not hurt.
Alhadhur averages 3.4 tackles and interceptions per 90 as well as maintaining an 83% pass completion. He has played just over 600 minutes for Caen, but he has been impressive for those 600 minutes. Although he does not have the offensive abilities that Arsenal has been spoiled with at full back, he still has undeniable defensive qualities. And at just 24 years of age, he has time to give.
