5 Reasons Arsenal Need Isco More Than Anyone Else

Arsenal are being heavily linked to Isco again, so it is that time again where we think about how fantastic life would be with him in the team.
It’s been awhile since I have gone on a vision quest picturing Isco playing for Arsenal. It’s been something like a week. Every time a rumor pops up linking the Spanish genius to Arsenal, the result is inevitable. I have to unleash the most pomp and circumstance humanly possible.

Arsenal need Isco. He is everything they need. I already fancy Arsenal to win the league with the club they have, but if they add Isco, they’ll win it even more. The point is that everything that Arsenal does not have, or needs more of, or can never have enough of, can be found at the feet of Santi Cazorla’s former Malaga team mate. And luckily for us, he may be finally ready to call his Real Madrid days over.

Madrid is struggling. They were disqualified from the Copa del Rey for playing with an ineligible player. They went on to lose to Villareal in their last outing. Add to that the Karim Benzema drama and we may start to see some people jumping ship on Real Madrid. They sit five points behind Barcelona and Atletico Madrid and that is causing guys like Isco and Jese to question their futures at the club as well as cash magnets like James Rodriguez.
Real Madrid has done business with Arsenal before when they sent Mesut Ozil to North London. It may seem out of character for Arsenal to spend big, particularly in January, on Isco, but Arsene Wenger has to see what a good position his club is in to win it all. A little extra push could make all the difference. Especially considering that Barcelona is awaiting us in the Champions League. Couldn’t hurt to add someone with a little extra determination to stick it to the Catalans.
With that in mind, let’s remind ourselves why Isco is perfect for Arsenal with five reasons. We’ll start with the obvious.
