Arsenal have a tough match up in Manchester City but if they play their cards right, they can win it comfortably. Here are five keys.

Arsenal sit just two points behind Leicester City and a spot at the top may be open with the Foxes having to go into Goodison Park to face Everton. That will leave Arsenal in charge of their own destiny. Arsenal was able to take four points from their match ups with the Citizens last year, mostly from the heroics of Jack Wilshere. This year, they will have to find heroics elsewhere.

Luckily for Arsenal, they have plenty of heroic types playing in heroic ways lately. The Gunners have dealt with a massive array of injury problems on their way to the Champions League round of 16 and into second place in the EPL. That is no easy feat considering who they are missing.

City will be welcoming Sergio Aguero back onto the pitch and that could be problematic, but to level things out, they will not be getting Vincent Kompany back.

Arsene Wenger has stated that Alexis Sanchez is unlikely, but the Chilean is one of those rambunctious sorts that has a knack for finding ways to play. We cannot rely on him, however, Arsenal need to be ready to beat the Citizens in other ways.

With that in mind, we have compiled the five keys to the game. These are five things that Arsenal should do to ease their way to victory. City is the first contending team they have had to face in quite some time so it is crucial that they don’t go into the game expecting a win. They will have to fight for it.
